A young and inconsiderate horse walked happily alongside an old donkey, which was heavily laden with bales and carried by its master on its back. The donkey, very tired, begged his companion for help, and he said:
- I ask you, friend, to help me carry half of what I carry, for you it would be like a game, but for me it would be a huge service, since I feel like I'm about to faint.
But the horse refused to help him, laughing at the donkey. They continued walking, until the donkey could not stand it anymore and fell faint.
Seeing this, the horse realized how badly he had acted and now the master removed all the load that the donkey was carrying and placed it on top of him.
Moral: It is necessary to help each other, because if your partner is missing his load will end up on your back.
