We suggest you cook delicious pancakes with the children. It is an ideal dessert for all children; for both vegans and those who cannot eat eggs. A healthy and nutritious sweet.
The pancake is a kind of crepe widely used in Argentine, Uruguayan and Chilean cuisine and it is taken with both sweet and savory accompaniments, in this case, we will make it with quinoa and banana, a mixture that is delicious.
- ½ cup cooked quinoa
- ½ cup of rice flour (can be replaced with any other gluten-free flour)
- ½ cup of water
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- stevia, xylitol… for sweetening (optional; taste the dough if it needs to be sweetened)
1- Mix the flour with the baking soda in a cup.
2- Mash the banana with a fork. Mix it with water and add the cooked quinoa. Sweeten if required. Stir well.
3- Add the flour mixture with bicarbonate, mix well.
4- If the dough is very thick, add more water. If it is too runny, add more flour.
5- Heat the pan gently greased with oil. Add the dough, brown on both sides.
6- Spread with jam, honey, garnish with fruits ... according to the taste of each one.
